Motorcyclist Ejected From Vehicle In Town Of Poughkeepsie Crash DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 39-year-old Poughkeepsie man is in serious condition after being thrown from his motorcycle onto the roadway on Wednesday on Spackenkill Road, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police. The crash happened around 10:54 p.m. when the unidentified driver lost control of his 2013 Suzuki motorcycle in the area of U.S. 9 and was thrown onto the roadway, police said. Police Search For Woman Wanted In Ramapo RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police are asking for the public's help in locating a Suffern woman wanted for stealing items from Walmart in December.Lisa Cottone, 54, was arrested in December at the Airmont Walmart after she bolted from the store without paying for items stuffed into her purse and shopping cart, authorities said.  Cottone was charged with petit larceny and was due in court in January. ID Released For Man Killed In Route 22 Head-On Crash In Putnam A Dutchess County man has been identified as the victim of a head-on crash on Route 22 in Southeast on Tuesday, according to Putnam County Sheriff's office. Killed in the crash was Gelsomino Lombardo, 59, of Hopewell Junction, said Capt. William McNamara. Injured were Peter V. PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. --  The former CEO of the Greater Mahopac/Carmel Chamber of Commerce pleaded guilty Tuesday to a reduced misdemeanor charge of petty larceny for stealing almost $3,000 from the organization. Erin Meagher, 27, of Brewster, was charged in March with grand larceny for using chamber funds to purchase expensive clothes, shoes, and handbags.
