He was the Vice President of CB Strain for DSI in Poughkeepsie for six years until his retirement in 2016. He was 22. Okeke was born on February 16, 1995, in White Plains to Angelus and Lisa (Steffen) Okeke. A student at Loras College in Dubuque, he had dreams of becoming a teacher and was working at Young-Uns Day Care, where he was admired by everyone. Wanted Suspect Nabbed In Ramapo ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. --  A Suffern woman wanted by Ramapo police for stealing items from Walmart in December has been captured with the help of the public, according to the Ramapo Police.  Lisa Cottone, 54, was captured after her photo and information appeared online and in Daily Voice on Monday. Cottone was originally arrested in December at the Airmont Walmart after she bolted from the store without paying for items stuffed into her purse and shopping cart, police said. Boy Headed To School Hit By SUV In Mamaroneck This story has been updated. MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A boy struck by a vehicle en route to school in Mamaroneck around 8:15 a.m. Friday, has been identified as an 11-year-old boy, said Lt. Bob Koziak. The middle-school student, who has hit by the SUV at 1310 Boston Post Road, was transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment. "I can say that the child was alert and talking while being transported," Koziak said. The extent of injuries to the child have not been released.
