Police: Fishkill Woman, Poughkeepsie Man Caught Stealing $1.2K At Hannaford Two Dutchess residents were charged with ripping off the Hannaford Store in Highland for more than $1,200 in goods, according to the Town of Lloyd Police. Justin Parker, 31, of Poughkeepsie, and Kimberly Brand, 27, of Fishkill, were caught on Thursday, April 20 trying to get out of the store with $1,200 in merchandise, said Lt. James Janso. Both were charged with grand larceny and conspiracy and are being held at the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail, Janso added.

Dutchess Sheriff Issues Alert For Pair Of Wanted Hudson Valley Suspects DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in locating two men who are wanted by Family Court for failing to pay their child or spousal support. Thomas Cullen, 48, and Gerald Allen Ackert, 49, are both wanted by the department on warrants, deputies said. Anyone with information regarding the two men should contact the Dutchess Count Sheriff's Office at 845-486-3800. For Cullen refer to warrant case 3755; for Ackert refer to warrant case 1559. If observed, deputies are warning not to approach the men, but to instead contact police.

Blauvelt Man, 23, Wanted Since March After Pearl River Bar Assault Caught ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Blauvelt man wanted since March for a brutal attack during a bar fight in Pearl River was nabbed by Orangetown Police last week. Burim Sinanaj, 23, was charged Wednesday with felony assault for an attack on March 19 inside a Pearl River bar in which he assaulted another man causing severe lacerations to his face that required medical attention, said the Orangetown Police. When officers arrived following the fight, Sinanaj was already gone, police said. Sinanaj was processed at headquarters and released. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 3.
