Elimu Freeman, 42, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and intent to distribute after the execution of search warrants on Friday at 130 Mansion St., and 47 Smith St., by the task force and the City of Poughkeepsie Police Emergency Services Unit, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the task force. DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Clinton Fire Department, along with help from multiple other departments battled a two-alarm fire at a multi-family home at 84 Rhynders Road in Staatsburg Wednesday, according to fire officials. Firefighters reported a heavy fire on the second floor and through the roof. Additional help was requested as firefighters are in a defensive mode battling the blaze, fire officials said.
