Motorist In Nyack Suspicious Vehicle Stop Had Heroin, Police Say NYACK, N.Y. -- A Mahwah, N.J. woman was busted for possession of heroin following a police stop on Thursday in Nyack, according to the Orangetown Police. Orangetown officers charged Jessica Tubito, 21, after finding one envelope of heroin and one hypodermic needle during a traffic stop around 10:30 p.m., for a suspicious vehicle, police said. Ramapo Police Save Life Of Woman Who Overdosed ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Ramapo police saved an Airmont woman's life on Thursday who had overdosed on drugs, said the Ramapo Police Department.According to police, officers responded to a home in Airmont where they found the woman who was showing signs of an Oxycodone overdose. Officers quickly administered Narcan to the woman who became more responsive after receiving a single dose, police added. The woman was provided additional medical care by the Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corp and Rockland paramedics before being transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
