Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For Missing 15-Year-Old Long Island Girl A 15-year-old Long Island girl has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Dairi Pinto, was last seen leaving her Hempstead residence on Remsen Avenue on Friday, Jan. 31 at 7:30 a.m. Her disappearance was reported to police on Monday, Feb. 3 at 4:15 p.m. She is described as being 5-foot-2, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Bank Robbed For Second Time In Two Days At This Long Island Hamlet A suspect is on the loose for the second time in as many days following a bank robbery in a Long Island hamlet. The latest bank to be robbed in Farmingville was the Sterling National Bank. It happened on Monday, Feb. 3 at about 10:10 a.m., Suffolk County Police said. A man entered the bank, located at 696 Horseblock Road, and handed the teller a note demanding cash, Suffolk County Police said. Area Resident Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting Into Neighbor's House, Police Say A 70-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after shooting into a neighbor's house in the area, state police said. The incident happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 in Dutchess County. Troopers responded to Cedar Lane in Wingdale for a report of a male subject, later identified as Stewart Mercay, 70, of Dover, who reportedly fired two shotgun rounds through the living room window of his neighbor’s house. UConn Senior From Fairfield County Killed In Crash A University of Connecticut student from Fairfield County has died from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle rollover crash. The crash happened around 4 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 in Coventry, Connecticut, about seven miles west of UConn's campus in Storrs. The student has been identified as Cole Montefusco, 21, of Redding, a 2016 graduate of Joel Barlow High School. Area College Athlete, 19, Dies After Six-Story Fall In NYC A freshman student-athlete at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut has been identified as the person found dead on the ground near The Vessel, a sculpture at Hudson Yards in Manhattan. Homicide Investigation Launched After Man Found Dead In Long Island Residence Police have launched a homicide investigation after a body was found in a Long Island resident. Third Precinct police responded just after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 for an aided at an abandoned residence in New Cassel at 1113 Broadway. Upon police arrival, officers observed a Hispanic man in his 30s deceased in the rear of the structure. Detectives were then called to investigate a homicide. Know Him? Man Used Counterfeit $100 Bill At Area Stop & Shop Do you know him? New York State Police from the Somers barracks are asking the public's help in the investigation of fraudulent activity at an area supermarket. Investigators are attempting to locate and identify the man shown in the two photos above. An investigation found he entered the Stop & Shop on Route 6 in Baldwin Place, on Thursday, Jan. 23 at around 4:30 p.m. and produced a counterfeit $100 bill.
