Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

SUV Found Under Dock In Marina On Long Island Sound An SUV that went into the water was discovered under a dock along the Long Island Sound. The incident happened on Saturday morning, Feb. 1 at Dolphin’s Cove Marina in Bridgeport, authorities said. The vehicle, which was unoccupied, was found approximately 75 feet from the Public Boat ramp wedged under a boat dock. Man At Large After Firing Gun Into Long Island Home During Dispute Police are asking the public's help in locating a man who fired a gun into a Long Island home during a dispute. Bernard King attempted to kick in the front door at an East Islip home on East Main Street at approximately 6:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, Suffolk County Police said. Shots Fired At Trump's Mar-a-lago As Connecticut Woman In Jeep Breaches Security A 30-year-old Connecticut woman is in custody after the rented Jeep she was driving breached a security checkpoint at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Long Island Woman Drove Drunk With 10-Year-Old Daughter In Car, Police Say A 35-year-old Long Island woman has been charged with driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law following an overnight traffic stop. Nassau County Police say that after being pulled over in Freeport on Henry Street and Freeport Plaza East, Syreeta Rawlins, of Roosevelt, was found to be driving in an intoxicated condition.
