Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Taconic Parkway Stretch Reopens After Crash With Injuries This story has been updated. A stretch of the Taconic State Parkway has reopened after a serious crash with injuries. The crash was reported shortly before 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, on the southbound side just north of Peekskill Hollow Road in Putnam Valley. The lanes reopened at around 8:25 a.m., state police said.

20-Year-Old Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree, Becomes Engulfed In Flames, Police Say A 20-year-old passenger was killed in a fiery single-car crash overnight. It happened at around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8 in Dutchess County on the Shunpike between Route 44 and Kennels Road in the town of Washington. Missing Wilton Man Found Dead Updated story: Missing Wilton Man Found Dead Original report: A 53-year-old man has gone missing in Fairfield County and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. A Silver Alert has been issued following the disappearance of Todd Davies. Davies was last seen on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Wilton Center. Police Search For Long Island Bank Robbery Suspect Police are asking the public's help in their investigation of a robbery at a bank of Long Island. After entering the Chase Bank in Valley Stream located at 270 N. Central Ave. on Monday, Dec. 30 at 6 p.m., the suspect approached the window and handed the teller a note demanding money, Nassau County Police said on Thursday, Jan. 9. Woman Crossing Roadway In White Plains Struck, Killed By SUV A woman was killed after she was struck and killed as she crossed a stretch of the Bronx River Parkway in Westchester. The incident happened on Tuesday night, Jan. 7 at Fisher Lane in White Plains, Westchester County Police said. IDs Released For Three Killed In One-Car Southern State Parkway Crash Three people who died from injuries sustained in the one-car crash on the Southern State Parkway late last week have been identified. Pier 1 Will Close Nearly Half Its Stores Amid Bankruptcy Speculation Pier 1 Imports announced it will close up to 450 stores, nearly half of its 942 outlets. The news comes amid rumors unconfirmed that the retailer will soon file for bankruptcy and after another quarter of declining sales and losses. Pier 1 said sales decreased 11.4 percent compared to the third quarter of fiscal 2019. Pier 1, which did not reveal the timetable for store closures, said it plans to shut down some distribution centers and reduce its corporate headcount while also slashing expenses. Man Charged In Fatal Hit-Run Among Three Putnam Inmates Released Under Criminal Justice Reforms A man accused in a fatal hit-and-run crash is among three suspects incarcerated on pending criminal charges in Putnam released under new criminal justice reforms that took effect on Wednesday, Jan. 1, County Sheriff Robert L.
