Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Police Investigate Death Of Long Island Man Following Altercation Police have launched an investigation into the death of a Long Island man following an altercation several days earlier. Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man on Sunday, Jan. 5 after reporting he was in an altercation in the Riverhead area earlier this month. Multiple Shots Fired Into Occupied Long Island House, Police Say Detectives are investigating an incident in which multiple gunshots were fired into a residence on Long Island overnight. Three men were observed fleeing the scene in an automobile after the shots were fired. The house, in West Babylon on York Place, was occupied when the incident happened just after midnight on Sunday, Jan. 5, Suffolk County Police said. Police: Man Enters Teenage Girl's Bedroom After Westchester Home Break-In A man broke into a Northern Westchester home and then entered a teenage girl's bedroom where he requested money, police say. Long Island Man Walking In Roadway Struck, Killed By Jeep A 55-year-old Long Island man was killed after being struck by a Jeep overnight. The incident occurred on Saturday, Jan. 4 at about 9:20 p.m. in Brentwood. Nelson Gonzalez, of Brentwood, was walking in the roadway on Crooked Hill Road, near McNair Street, when he was struck by a 2006 Jeep traveling northbound, Suffolk County Police said.
