Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

String Of Vandalism Incidents Under Investigation In Westchester This story has been updated. Authorities in Yorktown were alerted to a string of vandalism incidents that occurred in both town and private property. ID Released For Man Killed In Long Island Crash Involving Overturned Sedan A man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash involving an overturned sedan on Long Island has been identified. It happened around 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3 in Riverhead on County Road 94 about one-half mile west of the Suffolk County Correctional in Riverhead, Southampton Town Police said. Responding officers found an overturned 2006 Acura sedan that had apparently left the roadway. A crash that caused the closure of two lanes of a stretch of the Long Island Expressway caused gridlock near the Nassau-Suffolk border. State Police Investigate Bias Crime After Large Cross On Mountain Is Destroyed In Area Police are investigating a bias crime after a large cross was destroyed on a mountain in the area. The incident involved graffiti and vandalism to the cross, which can usually be seen from Honness Mountain in the area of Brooks Road in Fishkill for miles, including from Route 9 to the west and I-84 to the south. It happened at about 7:50 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4 in Greenlawn, Suffolk County Police said. Suspect On Loose After Long Island Bank Robbery A suspect is on the loose after a bank robbery on Long Island. It happened on Friday night, Jan. 3 at TD Bank on Nesconset Highway in Port Jefferson Station. A man entered the bank at approximately 6:55 p.m. and demanded cash from an employee, Suffolk County Police said.
