Lane Closure To Affect Taconic State Parkway In Yorktown: Here's When An upcoming lane reduction is set to slow down traffic on the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester for two days. The northbound Taconic State Parkway will be reduced to one lane between Exit 17A (Route 202/Route 35) and Exit 19 (Route 132) in Yorktown on both Wednesday, Oct. 11, and Thursday, Oct. 12, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The lane reduction will last from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.  The lane closure is to allow for pavement repairs, officials said.

Person Hospitalized After Crash In Front Of Hudson Valley Home A person was taken to a hospital following a serious crash in front of a Hudson Valley residence.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Thursday, Oct. 5 in Mahopac.
