Mom of 2, Girlfriend Of Suspect ID'd As Victim In Salem Murder Case: DA A 33-year-old Pablo Vicente man is charged with killing the mother of his two children and dumping her body, authorities announced Tuesday, Aug. 8. Nayeli Nieves, 20, of Salem, was reported missing on Monday from the home where she lived with Vicente and their 3-year-old and 18-month-old children, investigators said. Lynn High Girls Soccer Coach Groped Player, Tried To Sleep With Student, Sent Her Nudes: DA A 38-year-old Lynn high school soccer coach sent unsolicited nude photos of himself to an 18-year-old former play that he also tried to sleep with and groped an underage girl on his team, officials said. Salem Man Murdered Missing Woman; Police Searching For Her Body: DA A 33-year-old Salem man is expected to be arraigned Tuesday morning, Aug. 8, in a woman's disappearance and killing, authorities said. Boston Man Paid For Girl's Birthday Party After Family Member Made Porn Of Her: Feds A 39-year-old Boston man has admitted to a laundry list of disturbing allegations featuring children as young as 9 and 14 years old, federal authorities said. Kayaker Finds Body On Riverbank Near Western Mass Bridge: Firefighters Holyoke firefighters and police were called to Muller Bridge Sunday morning after a kayaker body on the bank of a river. Crews responded just before noon to Long Pond Road after receiving reports of the corpse washed up on the bank, the Holyoke Fire Department said. Police closed a section of the road for several hours as they investigated and cleared the scene. Police are investigating the cause of death. Detectives have not released the identification of the body or any information on how they could have ended up in the water.

Man Stabbed At Chicopee Gas Station Dies At Hospital: Police A man stabbed at a Chicopee gas station Sunday afternoon, Aug. 6, has died, Chicopee police said. The attack happened at the Shell station at 95 West St. around 3 p.m., police said. Paramedics rushed the man to a nearby hospital, where he died of his wounds. Investigators did not release the man's name. Chicopee police detectives closed the gas station for several hours Sunday night while they investigated the scene. Bean announced that it plans to expand its offerings in Massachusetts with two new stores.
