Head-On Crash Sends 3 To Hospital In Western Mass One person was critically wounded and two others were taken to a hospital after a head-on collision in Berkshire County Friday night, July 28.  The crash happened just after 10:30 p.m. at 1292 North St. in Pittsfield when a southbound Chevrolet Silverado truck slammed into a northbound Nissan Rogue, Pittsfield police said.  The driver of the Rogue was rushed to Berkshire Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later taken to Baystate Medical Center, authorities said. 15-Year-Old Busted With Loaded Gun At Holyoke Mall: Police A teenager was arrested last week after officers found a loaded pistol on him inside a mall, authorities said.  Police received a tip that the 15-year-old had a loaded pistol with an extended magazine on July 20, Springfield police said. Officers with the Firearms Investigation Unit began searching for the boy and found him around 7:30 p.m. at the Holyoke mall.  He was captured without incident.  Police do not release the names of minor suspects.
