Lawrence Man Hit By Police Car In New Hampshire Identified State police in New Hampshire have identified the man hit by a police cruiser on Sunday, July 23, at a busy intersection in Hampton, NH. Orlyn Medina Mercedes, 35, was struck around 7:15 p.m. on Ashworth Avenue near the corner of Ocean Boulevard and Nudd Avenue by a Hampton police officer responding to a medical emergency, New Hampshire State Police said. 'Shcool' Zone: Central Mass Town Promises To Fix Misspelled Street Sign A contractor may have needed to spend more time in "shcool" after they inadvertently misspelled school on a giant road sign in Worcester County. 'Huffing' Woman Caused Car Explosion In Central Mass: Police Fire investigators in Worcester County believe a car explosion over the weekend was caused by a woman huffing cans of compressed air inside the vehicle to get high. Boston Woman Drowns Scuba Diving In Rockport A 40-year-old South Boston woman died over the weekend in Rockport while SCUBA diving with her father, authorities said.
