Man Pulled From Central Mass Swamp After Getting Stuck For More Than Hour Police and firefighters in Worcester County saved a man after he fell into a swamp and was stuck for more than an hour, authorities said. First responders began receiving 911 calls just after 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 28, from people who said they could hear a man screaming for help on Pitcherville Road in Hubbardston. They found the man stuck in chest-deep murky water in a swamp about 30 yards from the road, Hubbardston firefighters said. Boston Child Sex Trafficker Will Admit To Trying To Get Witness Deported: Feds A child sex traffick charged with exposing himself to a woman will plead guilty to trying to threaten her into silence, authorities said. Mark Pinnock Jr., 32, of Boston, is charged with one count of witness intimidation after he tried to get the woman deported for illegally being in the United States, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. Police Rescue Injured Bear Cub In Western Mass Police did more than the bare necessities after they learned of an injured baby bear in dire need of help in Western Massachusetts. The cub was found in Franklin County off Route 2 in the town of Erving after it had been hit by a car Thursday evening, July 27. One of the men in the car that caused the mayhem is still on the run, authorities said. 15-Year-Old Busted With Loaded Gun At Holyoke Mall: Police A teenager was arrested last week after officers found a loaded pistol on him inside a mall, authorities said. Police received a tip that the 15-year-old had a loaded pistol with an extended magazine on July 20, Springfield police said. Officers with the Firearms Investigation Unit began searching for the boy and found him around 7:30 p.m. at the Holyoke mall. He was captured without incident. Wanted Accused Killer: Police Looking For Man They Say Is Behind Waltham Slaying A man wanted in a fatal shooting earlier this year in Waltham remains on the run, and police now want the public to be on alert for a man they say is armed and dangerous. Josh Pierre, 21, is accused of shooting Shelson "JJ" Jules twice in the back as he ran away on Lyman Street just before 1:30 a.m. on May 22, Waltham police said.
