26-Year-Old Indicted For Rape, Robbery At Long Island Hotel
A man has been indicted for allegedly attacking a woman at a Long Island Days Inn hotel, raping her, and stealing valuables, including jewelry and cash.
Isaih Giles, age 26, address unknown, was arraigned Thursday, March 31 for the attack which took place in April 2021 in Nassau County in Woodbury.
According to the indictment, on Thursday, April 22, 2021, allegedly placed his foot in the doorway of the victim’s hotel room door to prevent the door from closing.

Bridgeport Nightclub Closed After Police Find Guns, Liquor, Fire Violations
A popular Fairfield County nightclub has been closed after officials allegedly found several fire and alcohol violations.
The VIP Lounge, in Bridgeport, located on Pembroke Street, was raided by police and state liquor officials around 2:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 26.
"This immediate area has been plagued with police calls for service related to noise complaints, felony assaults, narcotics violations, and homicide," said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.

Jury Finds Hudson Valley Man Guilty Of Shoving Pregnant Woman
A Hudson Valley man has been found guilty of criminal contempt for shoving a pregnant woman to the ground.
Rockland County resident Eric Tranholm, age 28, of Stony Point, was convicted by a jury on Wednesday, March 30.
On Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at the Budget Motor Inn in the Town of Stony Point, Tranholm is shown on video surveillance running up to the victim and throwing his hands over her from behind, and forcefully bringing her to the ground, , said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh.

Alert Issued For Missing Long Island Girl
Police are asking the public for help locating a missing Long Island girl.
Nassau County resident Kimberlyn Cornejo-Reyes, age 14, of Hempstead, was reported missing on Wednesday, March 30.
Cornejo-Reyes, who was last seen at her residence in Hempstead, is described as being Hispanic, 5-foot tall, 120 pounds with red hair and brown eyes, police said.
She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and carrying a grey backpack.
Her destination is unknown, police said.

Teen Breaks Windshield Of Saugerties Vehicle 'Just For Fun,' Police Say
An 18-year-old jumped on the hood of a vehicle and smashed the windshield at an area sports complex, just for fun, police said.
The incident took place on Saturday, March 26, in Ulster County at the Cantine Memorial Sports Complex in Saugerties.
Saugerties Police arrested Tyler Battros, of San Antonio, Texas, for criminal mischief, and criminal trespass following the incident, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police.
