Orange County resident Andrew Goodenough, age 41, of New Windsor, was sentenced on Monday, March 28 after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in February. Somers 7-Eleven Robbed, State Police Say State police are investigating the robbery of a 7-Eleven store in Northern Westchester in which three masked reportedly stole cash and cigarettes. One Killed In Rollover Yorktown Crash A 50-year-old man was killed during a rollover crash in the area. It happened around 12:20 a.m., Sunday, March 27, in Northern Westchester on a stretch of the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown. Kurt P. Perez, age. 50, of New Rochelle, was driving a 2018 Ford Explorer southbound in wet conditions when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. Man With Gunshot Wound Faces Drug Charges After Melville Crash A Long Island man who was found shot in the arm after fleeing police has been charged with alleged possession of drugs, police said. Daquan Cannon, age 31, of Wyandanch, was arrested on Sunday, March 27 after crashing his car in Melville. Cannon was driving a 2011 BMW sedan eastbound on the South Service Road, east of Broadhollow Road when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a tree around 8 p.m., police said.
