The incident took place in New Haven County around 10:15 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 12,  in Hamden. Dutchess County resident Avinash Harrindranauth, age 28, was killed around 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 12, in the town of Union Vale on Verbank Club Road, police said. Springfield City Hall Evacuated After Suspicious Container Found A Western Massachusetts city hall has been evacuated after a suspicious contained was found near its entrance. The container was found around 10:15 a.m., Monday, Feb. 14, near the entrance to the Springfield City Hall. Smith, age 60 of New Windsor was found around 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, following a house fire in New Windsor, officials said. According to New Windsor Police Chief Robert Doss, the fire started around 7 p.m. at 17 Shaw Road.
