Police Investigating After Person Found Shot In Fairfield County Police in Fairfield County are investigating after a person was shot. The shooting took place around 10:20 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, when Norwalk Police received multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area of West Cedar Street and Prince Avenue. According to Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police, a heavy response of police officers rushed to the area. A gunshot victim was located and transported to Norwalk Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Being Hit By Car In Fairfield County Police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries in Fairfield County. It happened in Greenwich around 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, on West Putnam Avenue. CT Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By Box Truck A Connecticut pedestrian was killed after being hit by a Freightliner box truck. The man 68-year-old man was killed in New Haven County around 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26 at the intersection of East Main Street at North Elm Street in Waterbury.
