Driver Jumps Out Of Stolen Car, Causing Crash In Springfield, Police Say A man driving an alleged stolen vehicle in Western Massachusetts jumped out of the still-moving car when police attempted a traffic stop. The incident took place on Saturday, Jan. 15, when Springfield Police located a stolen vehicle on Bicentennial Highway. Car Crashes Into Lake In Area A Hudson Valley fire department removed a vehicle from a frozen lake after a crash. The incident took place in Putnam County around 11:45 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, when the Mahopac Falls Dive Team was requested to South Lake Boulevard for reports of a vehicle submerged in the lake, the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department said. CT Man Nabbed For Homicide, Police Say A Connecticut man has been nabbed by police for a fatal July shooting. Hartford Police and US Marshals arrested a Manchester man on Friday, Jan. 14, in connection with the July murder of a Hartford man, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police.
