Northern Westchester Woman Nabbed For Shooting Incident A Northern Westchester woman has been arrested for allegedly shooting at a vehicle with a woman and two sons inside. Shaynna Session, age 18, of Peekskill, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 12, for the shooting which took place around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5. According to Lt. Westbury Man Identified As Victim Of Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash State police have identified a Long Island man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash. Nassau County resident Brandon Wilson, age 34, of Westbury, was killed just before 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13 on the Northern State Parkway near Exit 34 in the town of North Hempstead. According to Trooper Daniel Ahlgrim, Wilson was traveling eastbound on the parkway when the vehicle left the roadway, into the southbound shoulder, striking two trees and a light pole. CT Teacher Assistant Nabbed With Handgun At School, Police Say A Connecticut teacher's assistant was arrested for allegedly having a handgun while in school. Sonnetta Powell, age 31, of North Haven, was arrested around noon on Friday, Jan. 14, by New Haven Police at the Katherine Brennan School. Donna Dvornek, age 63, of Bridgeport, was killed around 6:50 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 13, after being hit by two vehicles on Main Street at the intersection with Hillview Avenue in Bridgeport.
