Body Riddled With Bullet Wounds Found On CT Playground, Police Say Police are investigating after the body of a man riddled with bullet wounds was found on the property of a Connecticut playground. The body was discovered around 6 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, in New Haven County on the property of Pease Road Playground in Woodbridge and is being investigated as a homicide, said the Woodbridge Police Department.  Police responded to the playground after a jogger reported finding the body near the athletic field located at 160 Peace Road. Suspect Arrested In Death Of Western Mass Pedestrian, DA's Office Says Police have arrested a Western Mass man in connection with a crash that killed a pedestrian. The Franklin County crash, which killed a 45-year-old Shelburne Falls resident, took place around 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, along Route 2 in Shelburne, said Laurie Loisel, with the Northwestern District Attorney's Office. 6-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Long Island Crash, Police Say A Long Island man was arrested after a 6-year-old child was injured during a motorcycle crash. Lamar Samuel, age 28, was riding a late model ZHNG motorcycle eastbound on East Beech Street in Central Islip when he drove through a stop sign without stopping and struck a 1999 Honda, driven by Keith Robles, around 12:35 p.m., Monday, June 7, said the Suffolk County Police. Both Samuel and his 6-year-old passenger Emmanuel Garcia-Torres were ejected from the vehicle. Man Struck By Lirr Train A man was seriously injured after being hit by a train on Long Island. The incident took place around 9:30 p.m., Monday, June 7, when the man was struck by a train at the Amityville station, said MTA officials. The man was removed to the hospital alive with leg injuries after being struck. Some 115 commuters on the train, the 9:12 p.m. out of Babylon to Penn Station, were safely moved to another train, while the track was de-energized to remove the injured man. The MTA Police are investigating the incident but said that no criminality was involved during the incident.
