Worker Critically Injured After Being Pinned Between Vehicles In Fairfield County A Fairfield County construction worker was critically injured after being pinned between two vehicles in a freak accident. The incident took around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, in the area of 401 Wildwood Road in Stamford. Police ID CT Man Found Shot Dead At Popular Playground Police have identified a Connecticut man whose body was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a busy park. The victim was identified as 33-year-old Rondell Atkinson, of West Haven, said the Woodbridge Police Department. Atkinson's body was found around 6 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, by a jogger on the property of the Pease Road Playground / Alegi Athletic Fields, located at 160 Pease Road, in Woodbridge. Man Attempts To Cut Dog's Throat During Fight In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly attempting to cut a woman's dog's throat when the animal would not stop barking during a domestic dispute. Edwin Gonzalez, age 30, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Monday, May 31, by Milford Police when they responded to the Mayflower Motel for a domestic violence report. Student Suffers Self-Inflicted Wound At High School In Fairfield County A Fairfield County school was dismissed for the day after a student suffered a self-inflicted wound. The incident took place on Wednesday, June 9, and involved a male student at Bunnell High School in Stratford, suffered a self-inflicted wound. Two Killed In Western Mass Crash, State Police Say Two people were killed during a two-vehicle crash in Western Mass. The fatal crash took place around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, southbound on Route 391 in Chicopee, said the Massachusetts State Police.
