Man Busted With Pot After Crash In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County man was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance after crashing his vehicle into a wooded area. Kyle Mangan, age 27, of Stamford, was arrested on Wednesday, May 19 after New Canaan Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Talmadge Hill Road, said Lieutenant Jason Ferraro of New Canaan PD. New York State Police arrested Fabian Huirachocha Barbecho, age 36, of Yonkers, on Tuesday, May 18, in conjunction with the Putnam County Child Advocacy Center, said Trooper AJ Hicks. The crash took place around 12:30 p.m., Friday, May 21 in Sullivan County on Route 42 in the area of South Fallsburg, the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office said. Currently, Route 42 is closed in both directions between South Fallsburg and Fallsburg.  Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes, as the closure will be indefinite.
