Fake Door-To-Door Contractor Sexually Assaults West Chester Woman: Authorities Every woman at home alone's worst nightmare came true when a group of men posing as home improvement contractors entered her home last Wednesday, police in West Chester said. Three men were going door-to-door on Nov. 22 claiming to represent Everest Roofing & Masonry contracting — a company that does not exist, according to a release from WCPD. Ex-Employees Defrauded Chesco Business Out Of $133K, Police Believe Four former workers at a Kennet Square company wrote phony checks for over a year to steal more than $130,000 from their ex-boss, according to borough police. Authorities said they were contacted by a West State Street business in April about fraudulent bank activity. The owner told investigators that some employees were previously given permission to write checks for business-related purposes. Poconos Woman, 56, Killed In Early Morning Crash: Police One woman is dead and two other people are wounded after a two-car crash in Pocono Township early Monday, Nov. 27, according to authorities. Police were called to Route 314 between Summit Road and Swiftwater Avenue around 6:45 a.m., the department said in a release. 'Someone Is Going To Die Tonight': Gunman Threatened Woman In Allentown Home, Police Say An Allentown man is charged with making terroristic threats while brandishing a gun at an area home on Sunday, Nov. 26. Lloyd Saunders, 44, is also charged with illegal firearm possession, simple assault, and harassment, police said.
