Car Crash Shutters Route 1 In Chester County: Officials (Developing) A car wreck shut down a portion of Route 1 in East Marlborough Township on Tuesday afternoon, officials told Daily Voice. The northbound lanes of the Route 1 bypass near the Route 82/Unionville Road overpass were briefly closed on Nov. 21, Chester County authorities said. The roadway was reopened by 4 p.m., they added. It was not immediately clear by Tuesday night if anyone was hurt. This is a developing story, check back for more.

Masked Burglars Nabbed After Foot Chase Through Bucks County: Police Two men face criminal charges after police found them prowling near a Northampton Township home on Monday night, Nov. 20, according to officials. Police said they spotted a pair of masked men in dark clothes poking around the front yard of a property in Richboro sometime during the evening. 'Large-Scale' Drug Traffickers Wanted In Berks County: DA Two members of an alleged Berks-based "large-scale drug trafficking organization" are still on the run, according to the District Attorney's Office. Of the 29 men charged as part of the DA's "Operation Knockout" last month, all except for 44-year-old Jeffrey Kanelos and 34-year-old Moises Franco are in custody, authorities said. 'Juvenile' Stabbed During Poconos House Party, Say State Police Gunshots were fired and a young victim was stabbed at a "large house party" in Carbon County on Friday night, Nov. 17, according to state troopers. Police said they were called to a home on West Snyder Avenue in Lansford Borough just before 11 p.m. for reports of gunfire. Police Officer Hurt In Bucks County Crash: Authorities A Perkasie police officer was briefly hospitalized and a driver is in custody after a two-car crash on Sunday night, Nov. 19, according to officials. The officer was headed north on Arthur Avenue near the Perkasie Library around 9:30 p.m. when a southbound Volkswagen Tiguan crossed into his lane, authorities said. Cats Found Shot In PA: SPCA Officials are investigating after two cats were shot in Falls Township last week. It happened between 11 a.m. and noon on Nov. 15, according to the Bucks SPCA. A white cat named Tootsie was found dead, and a black cat named Jackie was badly injured and needed emergency surgery to remove her eye, officials said. She still has a "projectile" lodged near her brain as of Monday, Nov. 20. A $2,500 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Lehigh Valley Man, 60, Killed In Two-Car Crash: Coroner A Lower Macungie resident was killed in a two-car crash in the township on Sunday, Nov. 19, according to authorities. Eric J. Cressman, 60, died from multiple blunt force injuries by manner of accident, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio's Office said. Cressman was involved in a crash at the corner of Lower Macungie and Brookside roads around 7:15 a.m., officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene within an hour. In addition to the Coroner's Office, the PSP Fogelsville station is also investigating.

Reading Driver Shot In Car, Police Say Reading police are investigating after a driver was hospitalized with gunshot wounds on Sunday evening, Nov. 19, authorities told Daily Voice. It happened on the 800 block of Ritter Street, the department said. The victim, a 50-year-old man, was shot multiple times in the lower half of his body, said police. He was taken to Reading Hospital, though his condition was not reported. The shooting is under investigation and there is no threat to the public at this time, authorities added.

Man Sought For Assault At West Chester Bar: Authorities At least one person was injured in an assault at a West Chester bar early Sunday morning, Nov. 19, according to borough police. Authorities said they were called to Ryan’s Pub at 124 W. Gay Street around 1:15 a.m. for an altercation. The assault remains under investigation, WCPD said.
