Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight Inside Vehicle On Long Island A suspect is at large after a man sitting inside a vehicle was shot and killed in broad daylight on Long Island. It happened just before 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5 in Hempstead. According to Nassau County Police detectives, Hempstead Police officers responded to 105 Terrace Ave. after a report of gunshots fired. Long Island Man Sentenced For Racketeering, Participating In Murder, Attempted Murder A Long Island man has been sentenced for racketeering, including conspiring to distribute narcotics and participating in a murder and attempted murder of a rival. Car Crashes Down Embankment After Woman Swerves To Avoid Deer On Route 202 A car crashed down an embankment after a woman swerved the vehicle to avoid a deer in the Hudson Valley, according to police. The incident happened early Saturday afternoon, Oct. 3 in Rockland County on Route 202, just west of Mayer Drive in the Village of Montebello. One Killed In Crash Between Minivan, Bicycle In Hudson Valley One person was killed in a crash between a minivan and a bicycle in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 in Orange County in the town of Minisink.
