Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Three Schools In Long Island District Close After Staff Members Test Positive Three schools at a Long Island district have switched to remote learning after a pair of staffers tested positive for COVID-19. The announcement was made Sunday night, Oct. 4 by Lindenhurst School Superintendent Daniel Giordano in a statement posted by the district. Police Officer In Northern Westchester Dies Suddenly At Age 25 A police officer who grew up and worked in Northern Westchester has died suddenly. Nicholas D. Hansen 25, of Pleasantville, died on Thursday, Oct. 1 at his residence. He was an officer with the Town of Bedford Police Department. He was born on June 15, 1995, to Dean and Vikki (nee Palmieri) Hansen in White Plains. He was a graduate of Pleasantville High School, Class of 2013, and went on to receive his Associate's Degree. 29-Year-Old Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash On Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash overnight on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. It happened on Sunday, Oct. 4 just before 12:30 a.m. in North Massapequa on the expressway near the Boundary Avenue exit.
