Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Summer Weather Outlook Released: Here's What To Expect, Ridgewood Wet weather and severe storms will keep extreme temperatures at bay in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic this summer, according to AccuWeather.com. O&R Advises 'Wise' Electric Use With Heat Watch In Effect For Tuesday O&R is continuing its Heat Watch into Tuesday, June 13, and is advising its customers to use electricity wisely during this unseasonably hot weather period. The Heat Watch was issued because the hot weather is expected to drive air conditioning use up higher than normal once again on Tuesday. That increase is predicted to push demand for electricity on the O&R system past 1,300 megawatts, triggering a Heat Watch. Tuesday’s O&R electricity demand is predicted to peak at 1,371 megawatts. Bear Spotted Near Playground, Park In East Fishkill There's another bear making the rounds in Dutchess. The East Fishkill Police Department said it received a report Monday afternoon of the bear sighted on a neighbors's property in the area of Quail Run Road in Wiccopee, a hamlet in East Fishkill. After a police officer had been sent to patrol the area since it's near a park and playground, it appeared the bear had moved on, police said.
