Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

One Killed, One Seriously Injured In Rollover Taconic Parkway Crash One person was killed and another seriously injured Sunday in a rollover crash on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County.The crash, at Tyrell Road in Pleasant Valley just north of Route 44, occurred around noon, leading to the closure of the roadway. One lane has since reopened. There have also been rubber-necking delays on the southbound side. Neither the person killed or injured has been identified. This is a developing story. Police Seek Help In Investigation Of Pedestrian Killed On I-87 State Police are asking the public's help as they investigate a fatal motor-vehicle accident that occurred overnight on a stretch of I-87 in Rockland County. At about 4 a.m. Sunday, 54-year-old Paul Peacock of New York City was struck by an unknown vehicle, most likely a tractor -railer, while walking on the southbound New York State Thruway near the Ramapo rest area, state police said. It is unclear why Peacock was walking on the thruway at the time of the collision and the vehicle involved failed to stop at the accident scene, according to police.
