A New Year's Day swearing-in ceremony for members and officers at a firehouse in Hampton was interrupted by a three-car crash on Route 31 outside Kappus Plastics, firefighters said.  One person was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, firefighters said.

On Thursday, Dec. 21. at 6:30 a.m., the woman went into the mail room of the Citizen Linden apartment building at 307 W.
