Seton Hall Student, 21, ID'd As Person Fatally Struck By Train In South Orange: NJ Transit A 21-year-old man was identified as the person fatally struck by a train in South Orange on Wednesday, Dec. 13, NJ Transit officials said. Joseph DeBari, a junior accounting major at Seton Hall University, was struck by a train not in passenger service, west of the South Orange station around 7:35 p.m., NJ Transit officials said. WWE Star Liv Morgan, Elmwood Park Native, Busted For Pot In Florida Traffic Stop: Police Liv Morgan, a Bergen County native and former WWE Women's Champion, has run afoul of the law. Morgan, whose real name is Gionna Daddio and who was raised in Elmwood Park, was arrested in Florida on Thursday, Dec. 14, after police found she was in possession of marijuana and a vape pen following a traffic stop, the Sumter County Sheriff's Office said, according to an arrest report obtained by Daily Voice. Newark Man Convicted Of Fatally Stabbing, Strangling Girlfriend: Prosecutors Nasean Torres, a 49-year-old Newark man was convicted of murder on Thursday, Dec. 14 for fatally stabbing and strangling his longtime girlfriend in July 22, authorities said. On July 22, police responded to 47 Palm St. in Newark and found Elizabeth Kelley, 55, lying in the basement floor of her home, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said. NJ Nightclub Shooters Sentenced Two men from East Orange have been sentenced for their role in an August 2022 shooting at Menga Lounge in Linden, authorities said. Najir Paige, 29, and Sharif Evans, 26, were sentenced on Friday, Dec. 8 for the shooting, which left three people injured, Union County Prosecutor William A. Would-Be Armed Supermarket Robbers Bail Before Garwood Officers Arrived: Cops Garwood police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a Kings Supermarket on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 13. Two Black men, between 40 to 50 years old, wearing surgical masks and dark clothing entered the store after hours, police said. When confronted by an employee, one of the suspects pulled out a firearm, police said. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived and did not take anything, police said.
