A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

David Duchovny, who played alien believer Agent Mulder for 11 seasons on the 1990s sci-fi classic "The X-Files", is signing copies of his new novella "The Reservoir" at Bookends in Ridgewood on Tuesday, Dec. 19 a 6 p.m.  This is Duchovny's fifth novel. Man Shot Near Jersey City Charter School: Authorities A man is in critical condition after being shot in Jersey City on Monday, Dec. 11, authorities said. The man was shot in the area of Bramhall Avenue and Clerk Street, near Dr. Lena Edwards Academic School, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. NJ Man Sentenced For Making Teen Sexually Abuse 4-Year-Old, Record It: Prosecutors A 32-year-old Hudson County man was sentenced to prison for making a teen boy sexually abused a child and record it, prosecutors said. Joseph Suarez, of West New York, was sentenced to 15 years in prison last week after he pleaded guilty to instructing a 13-year-old boy to sexually abuse a 4-year-old girl and send him recordings of it, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
