An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Porch Pirate Snatched $1K In Packages: Bayonne PD A 30-year-old Bayonne man was arrested on Friday, Dec. 8 after snatching packages in the city in November, authorities said. Juan Bonaci Leon stole delivered packages worth $1,000 from a man's porch at 11th Street and JFK Boulevard on Sunday, Nov. 19, police said. He was formally charged with theft following an investigation by the Bayonne Police Detective Bureau, police said.

George Santos Is Out: Here's How NJ Delegates Voted New Jersey's congressional delegation all shared the same sentiment when it comes to Rep. George Santos. They wanted him out, and they got it. The serial fabulist (R-Long Island) was expelled by the US House 311-114, with all 12 New Jersey representatives, including three Republicans, voting in favor of his ouster. The resolution required a two-thirds majority vote in order to pass. Santos was expelled amid mounting accusations of criminality. Newark Bank Robber With Hot Pink Exploding Dye Convicted (Video) A 29-year-old Newark man faces up to 10 years in state prison after he was recently convicted of robbing a Capitol One bank in Newark in 2021, authorities said. On July 3, 2021, Esau Grant walked into the Springfield Avenue bank and passed a note to a teller that read: I have a gun, give me all the money from the register please and no one will get hurt," Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. 12-Year-Old Newark Boy Missing For Almost Two Weeks: Police Brayden Killings, a 12-year-year-old Newark boy has been missing since Friday, Nov. 17, police said. Killings, who was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and oppositional defiant order, was last seen on the 100 block of Badger Avenue at 11 a.m., Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G.
