Mask Mandate Issued For Pennsylvania Schools Gov. Tom Wolf has announced a mask mandate for Pennsylvania schools and daycares. The mandate says that masks must be worn inside all K-12 buildings, in buildings for early learning programs, and inside child care provider buildings. The mandate goes into effect on Sept. 7,

Seen HIM? South Jersey Man With Distinct Stomach Tattoo Missing Since Sunday New Jersey State Police are seeking the public's help in locating a 23-year-old man missing since Sunday. Trevon Davis, of Willingboro, was last seen wearing a navy blue Champs Sports uniform shirt and grey shorts. His blue Dodge Dart was found in Tabernacle Township in the area of Iricks Causeway Road by Friendship Creek. A man matching his description was seen walking with a skateboard in his hand in a wooded area where the vehicle was later recovered. Memorials Honor Jersey Shore Lifeguard Killed By Lightning Monday afternoon was just another work day for South Seaside Park guard Keith Pinto, who sat in the lifeguard chair under clear skies surrounded by his colleagues and beach goers. Gotcha! Fugitive In Jersey Shore ShopRite Stabbing Surrenders, Prosecutor Says A 37-year-old man wanted in a Jersey Shore stabbing surrendered to authorities over the weekend. Michael Stallworth was on the lam since July 26, when he stabbed a man in the Brick Township ShopRite parking lot, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Brick Township Chief of Police James Riccio said. The Seaside Heights resident is being held in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing. 8-Year-Old Boy Shot Dead In Newark An 8-year-old boy was shot and killed Sunday night in Newark, authorities said. The boy was shot on the 100 block of Schuyler Avenue around 10 p.m., the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said. According to RLS Media, the boy may have found a gun and shot himself in the head and mouth. No further details were released pending investigation.

Winners: Central Jersey Lottery Tickets Will Split $1.9M Jackpot A pair of lucky New Jersey Lottery tickets sold in Central Jersey will split the jackpot worth more than $1.9 million. The tickets from Saturday's Jersey Cash 5 drawing were sold in Middlesex and Somerset counties. The tickets were sold at the following locations: Super Stop & Shop #818, 24 Summerfield Blvd. & Route 522, South Brunswick Quick Chek #144, 55 Main St., South Bound Brook. Each ticket is worth $961,875. The winning numbers were 03, 12, 20, 35, and 43 and the XTRA number was: 02. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold.

Hurricane Ida: Up To 6 Inches Of Rain Expected In NJ, PA Hurricane Ida is sparing the region of her wrath -- mostly. New Jersey and Pennsylvania are expected to get several inches of rain this week from the Category 4 hurricane that hit the Louisiana coast Sunday, meteorologists say. Six Flags Guest Injured In Fall While Climbing Building In Restricted Area A Six Flags Great Adventure Guest was injured after climbing a fence into a restricted area Sunday, park officials said. While climbing onto the roof of a building in the restricted area, the guest slipped and injured her leg around 8:30 p.m., officials said. It was not clear where in the park the incident occurred. A medevac was called to the park, although it was unclear if the victim was flown or taken by ground. "We are proud of our public safety team, who risked their own safety to serve our guest," officials said.
