Authorities ID Teen, Man Dead In North Plainfield Triple Shooting Authorities have identified the teen boy and man killed in a triple North Plainfield shooting last week. Christian Orellana, 31, and Steven Jimenez, 14 -- who live together in Plainfield -- were sitting on a front porch of the Malcolm Gardens Apartment Complex on Little Place with an unidentified 28-year-old man when all three were shot around 8:05 p.m. last Friday, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Authorities Probe Suspicious Death At East Hanover Hotel Authorities are investigating what they're calling a suspicious death at an East Hanover hotel. The body was found at the Oyo Hotel on Route 10 West on Friday, Aug. 13, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. The incident is being investigated by the East Hanover Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. There was no danger to the public at this time, and there is no further information related to the investigation that will be released at this time. No further information was released.

NJ Home Health Aid, 69, Sexually Assaulted Nonverbal Patient, Authorities Say A 69-year-old home health aid sexually assaulted a nonverbal adult male patient, authorities said. Franklin Township police on Aug. 10 got a tip regarding possible sexual contact regarding Rose Stanley, of Somerset, and her patient, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said. Stanley was working as a home health care aide for a Franklin Township company at the time of the incident, Robertson said. Sold! Snooki Sells 'Shore Flip' Home For $740K Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi sold her Ocean County home for nearly twice as much as she bought it for. MTV's "Jersey Shore" star and husband Jionni bought their $370,000 Brick Township home for $370,000 in November 2015. They sold it for twice that in January 2021, the New York Post reports. The home was just 1,795 square feet when they first purchased it. But after a complete overhaul that the couple documented on YouTube, the house grew to be more than 4,000 square feet. Prosecutor: Off-Duty Officer Shoots Gunman Who Opened Fire Outside Newark Bar An off-duty corrections officer fired back at a gunman who shot him and two others outside of a Newark bar overnight, authorities said. The officer, an employee, an innocent bystander and the gunman all suffered non life-threatening injuries during the Pulaski Street incident, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, said. All four were being treated at University Hospital in Newark. The investigation is active and ongoing. At this point, no one has been charged.

Racing Paramus Motorcyclist, 29, Killed In NY Crash, State Police Say A 29-year-old Paramus man died while racing his motorcycle on I-87 in Westchester County, NY, authorities said. Frank Mahouti was heading northbound on a 2018 Ducati near mile marker 3.5 in Yonkers when he failed to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed around 1 a.m. Aug. 13, NY State Trooper Tara McCormick said. The Ducati struck the guide rail on the east shoulder, ejecting Mahouti from his bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Westchester County Medical Examiner.
