Body Of 37-Year-Old Man Found Floating In Raritan River The body of a 37-year-old man was found floating in the Raritan River Sunday. Crews responded to the Donaldson Park boat ramp around 4:15 p.m., and found the body of Highland Park's Michael Davis, Jr., Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Highland Park Police Chief Richard Abrams said. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death remains undetermined pending the completion of an autopsy by the Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office. Authorities ID Teen, Man Dead In North Plainfield Triple Shooting Authorities have identified the teen boy and man killed in a triple North Plainfield shooting last week. Christian Orellana, 31, and Steven Jimenez, 14 -- who live together in Plainfield -- were sitting on a front porch of the Malcolm Gardens Apartment Complex on Little Place with an unidentified 28-year-old man when all three were shot around 8:05 p.m. last Friday, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Police: 8-Year-Old Hit By Car Prompts Triple Stabbing In Elizabeth A man stabbed three people after an 8-year-old child was struck by a vehicle Sunday night in Elizabeth, authorities said. The child was hit by a passing car which resulted in an assault around 9:05 p.m. at 440 Broadway, City Spokeswoman Kelly A. Martins said. A 38-year-old Howell man stabbed three people, and was subsequently charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, authorities said. All victims including the child were in stable condition as of Monday morning, Martins said.

Police ID 27-Year-Old Dad Killed In Sumneytown Pike Crash Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash on Sumneytown Pike as a 27-year-old Harleysville man. Jordan Sims was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, with a 24-year-old female passenger, also from Harleysville, in the front passenger seat at the time, westbound, when it struck a 2006 Nissan Murano in the eastbound lane, Towamencin Police Chief Tim Troxel said. The 25-year-old Nissan driver, from Philadelphia, and Sim's passenger were injured. Sims, who leaves behind a son and a daughter, was pronounced dead. Officers found the victims suffering non life-threatening injuries outside of Antojos Restaurant on 4th Street around 2:20 a.m., police say. Wildwood Crews Rescue Distressed Nighttime Swimmers A pair of swimmers were rescued by crews in Wildwood last Friday night. The two went in the water after regular guards had finished their shift and after-hour crews were leaving for the night, NJ Advance Media reports. Teen Struck, Killed In Route 35 Hit-Run A 15-year-old was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday on Route 35. NJ Woman Who Worked At Kalahari Killed, Six Seriously Injured In CT Crash A woman was killed and six other people all from New Jersey suffered serious injures in a single-vehicle crash in Connecticut. It happened just before 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 in New Haven County.
