Authorities Seek Police Impersonator Wanted For Pulling Over NJ Drivers Authorities have released a composite sketch of a man who they say impersonated police and pulled over New Jersey drivers. A victim was stopped by a man in a black, older model Ford Crown Victoria and activated a blue dome light on the front dashboard in Brick Township around 2 p.m. on Aug. 1, New Jersey State Police said. Boy Shot Dead, 2 Adults Injured In Chester A boy was killed and two adults injured in a Monday night shooting in Chester City, authorities said. Officers were near 10th & Upland Streets when they heard multiple gun shots coming from the area of 10th & Madison Streets around 10:30 p.m., Capt. James P. Chubb said. The boy was found lying face down in the grass, in front of a home on the 900 block of Madison Street, Chubb said. Authorities ID Driver Killed In Newark Crash With NJ Transit Bus A 33-year-old woman died and several others were injured in a crash between a vehicle and NJ Transit bus early Tuesday in Newark, authorities said. The Bloomfield-bound bus was struck head-on by a westbound 2007 Chevy Impala while going east on Hawthorne Avenue near Clinton Place around 5:30 a.m., NJ Transit spokesman Jim Smith said. Paige N. 21-Year-Old PA Woman Struck, Killed By Car At Jersey Shore A 21-year-old Pennsylvania woman died after being struck by a car at the Jersey Shore last week, authorities announced. Katherine Lux, of New Hope, was struck at 26th Street and West Avenue in Ocean City around 8:45 p.m. last Wednesday, the Cape May Prosecutor's Office said. She was rushed to Shore Medical Center and transferred to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, where she died Friday, authorities said. No charges had been filed against the 44-year-old Egg Harbor Township driver. The investigation remains ongoing.

Body Of 37-Year-Old Man Found Floating In Raritan River The body of a 37-year-old man was found floating in the Raritan River Sunday. Crews responded to the Donaldson Park boat ramp around 4:15 p.m., and found the body of Highland Park's Michael Davis, Jr., Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Highland Park Police Chief Richard Abrams said. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death remains undetermined pending the completion of an autopsy by the Middlesex County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office. Police: 8-Year-Old Hit By Car Prompts Triple Stabbing In Elizabeth A man stabbed three people after an 8-year-old child was struck by a vehicle Sunday night in Elizabeth, authorities said. The child was hit by a passing car which resulted in an assault around 9:05 p.m. at 440 Broadway, City Spokeswoman Kelly A. Martins said. A 38-year-old Howell man stabbed three people, and was subsequently charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, authorities said. All victims including the child were in stable condition as of Monday morning, Martins said.

Police ID 27-Year-Old Dad Killed In Sumneytown Pike Crash Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash on Sumneytown Pike as a 27-year-old Harleysville man. Jordan Sims was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, with a 24-year-old female passenger, also from Harleysville, in the front passenger seat at the time, westbound, when it struck a 2006 Nissan Murano in the eastbound lane, Towamencin Police Chief Tim Troxel said. The 25-year-old Nissan driver, from Philadelphia, and Sim's passenger were injured. Sims, who leaves behind a son and a daughter, was pronounced dead.
