Jersey City Boy, 14, Struck Hoboken SUV Driver
A 14-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle in Jersey City after he darted in front of it over the weekend. The 28-year-old Hoboken driver was heading west on Stevens Avenue toward Martin Luther King Drive when the boy abruptly ran northbound across the street around 10:50 p.m. Saturday, according to the police report. The front fender of the vehicle -- an Acura MDX -- was damaged, police said. However, the driver told authorities those damages were there before the accident. Search For Missing PA Teen Leanna Nevaeh Godshall Intensifies
The search for a 16-year-old girl missing out of the Philadelphia suburbs since last month has intensified. Leanna Nevaeh Godshall was last seen Friday, May 21 around 3 p.m. Telford Borough police and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children are asking for the public's help in locating her. The teen, who goes by Nevaeh, is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, 115 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing jeans and a black t-shirt.

NJ State Trooper Accidentally Shoots Himself In Penn Station, Report Says
A New Jersey State Trooper was rushed to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in New York's Penn Station Sunday night, CBS News reports. The trooper was apparently adjusting his belt when his weapon discharged on a platform in the Amtrak section of the station, NJ.com reports. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment and has since been released.

Deadly, Fiery Crash Closes Black Horse Pike
The Black Horse Pike in Monroe Township (Gloucester County) was closed Sunday night for a serious crash investigation, police said. Initial reports say one person died when a car overturned and struck a tree then burst into flames sometime around 10:45 p.m. The crash occurred at 2906 Black Horse Pike, and the road was expected to be closed for an extended period of time, reports say.

An officer fired his multiple shots at a 32-year-old man who tried ramming him with a stolen vehicle before fleeing the scene and crashing, the Lancaster District Attorney's Office said. Manheim police responding to the 300 block of Waterford Court in Lancaster on reports of a stolen vehicle found Corry Brooks behind the wheel of a car around 8:30 p.m. Friday, authorities said. Authorities: Narvon Man ID'd As Arsonist Who Caused Massive East Earl Barn Fire
An 18-year-old man was charged with starting an April barn fire totaling more than $500,000 in damages, authorities in Lancaster County said. East Earl Township police on June 25 got an anonymous tip that Jonathan Lynn Yoder, of Narvon, was responsible for starting the April 8 fire, authorities said. The following day, he admitted to setting fire to the barn on the 200 block of Bridgeville Road around 2:25 a.m., authorities said. An off-duty New Jersey State Police trooper was hurt in an ATV crash in Sussex County. The trooper was taken to Morristown Medical Center after the crash at 1 a.m. Sunday on Beaver Run Road in Lafayette, NJSP Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. 10-Year-Old Boy Shoots, Kills Himself After Finding Gun In Philadelphia Home
A 10-year-old boy shot and killed himself after finding a gun in his Philadelphia home, news reports say. The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. Saturday in a home at 1410 W Pacific St., NBC News reports. The boy and his 8-year-old sister apparently found the weapon in a cabinet, when he shot himself in the head, the outlet says. The girl ran to a neighbor's house and called police. The boy was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead around 40 minutes after the shooting.
