US Marshals Nab Pair Of NJ Sex Offenders Together In PA, Prosecutor Says A pair of New Jersey sex offenders wanted for incidents involving an 8-year-old boy and two girls ages 11 and 14 were found together in Pennsylvania, authorities said Saturday. U.S. Marshals and Task Force officers found Emanuel Cortez and Alberto Colon at a family member's house with two children in Summit Hill (Carbon County) PA, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. 5 Hospitalized In Route 1 Crash Five people were hospitalized in a serious crash on Route 1 early Saturday morning, authorities said. A southbound car veered off the road just before Carnegie Center Drive and struck a telephone pole before re-entering the road -- where it was struck by an SUV around 3:40 a.m., NJ.com says citing West Windsor police. Four occupants of one car and a fifth from the other were rushed to a local hospital, according to Sgt. Frank Bal. No further information was released.

Woman Dies On Outdoor Performance Stage In South Ward A 55-year-old woman went unconscious then died on an outdoor stage in Newark Friday, news reports say. Police were called to the performance stage at Clinton and Peshine avenues around 1 p.m., where they found the woman unresponsive on the stage, RLS Media reports. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A cause of death has not yet been announced and the incident was not considered suspicious.

Areas around the Mill Run Apartments were cordoned off as officials were apparently told to clean up immediately, residents said. Sewage was being pumped onto the complex's property, storm drains and communal areas, sources said. An area in parking lot H off of Walker Avenue appeared to be the source of the problem. 13-Year-Old Airlifted In High Bridge Bicycle Accident A 13-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized in a crash in High Bridge on Thursday. The teen was riding down Dewey Avenue and unable to stop, when they struck a curb and guardrail around 2:10 p.m., High Bridge Police Chief Brett J. Bartman said. The teen suffered a severe gash to their chest and was airlifted for further treatment by NorthStar.  South Branch Emergency Squad treated the victim and High Bridge Fire Department responded for the landing zone.
