Amazon has signed a lease on a 360,000 facility being built on a North Jersey industrial site to be used as a last-mile delivery center. Lincoln Equities Group procured $115 million in industrial build-to-suit construction financing for the facility, expected to be ready in early 2022. Five people are facing various assault and weapon charges stemming from a Hoboken riot that grew to 25 people Wednesday afternoon, police said. Officers responded to 3rd and Harrison streets on reports of a group of men -- including one with a handgun -- fighting in the street around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Hoboken Police Det. Lt. Authorities ID Man Struck, Killed By Train In Elizabeth
Authorities have identified the man struck and killed by a train last week in Elizabeth as a 37-year-old city resident. Northeast Corridor train 3891 struck Husain Williams near W. Grand Street station around 10:45 p.m. on May 27, NJ Transit officials said. Authorities in Essex County are seeking the public's help locating a woman being sought as a person of interest in a recent homicide. The unidentified woman is wanted in the May 15 killing of Michael Williams, 35, of Irvington, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said. A pickup truck driver was airlifted to the hospital in a Towamencin Township crash Wednesday, authorities said. A 2010 Acura TL and a 2018 Ford F-150 pick-up truck collided at the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Wambold Road around 4:55 p.m., Police Chief Timothy Troxel said. Coroner IDs Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Tractor Trailer On I-78 In Lehigh County
The Lehigh County coroner's office has identified the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer on I-78 in Lehigh County Thursday morning, authorities said. Jovani Julio Diaz, 28, was pronounced dead at 5:45 a.m. after being struck by the tractor-trailer on the westbound side at mile marker 45.1 in Weisenberg Township around 5 a.m., the coroner's office said.
