Infant Abductor Tried Ramming Mom With Car During Shopping Trip Argument In VA: Police A 22-year-old man snatched an acquaintance's infant from her while out shopping, then got into a vehicle with the baby and tried running the mother over in northern Virginia, authorities said. Deyvon Marquette Newman was in Gabes on Sudley Road in Manassas around 3:45 p.m. Sunday, April 30 when the incident occurred, Prince William County police said. Teen Sexually Assaulted Woman On Arlington Running Trail, Six More Victims Come Forward: PD A teen accused of sexually assaulting a woman on an Arlington running trail last year is facing accusations from six additional victims, according to police. The unnamed juvenile approached the woman from behind on the Arlington Boulevard trail on Nov. 29, 2022, around 3:05 p.m. and grabbed her buttocks, then ran off, police said. Detectives identified the 17-year-old male suspect and obtained a petition for Assault and Battery in January 2023. Baltimore Woman Rallies For Future Veterinarian Brother In ICU Week Before Graduation Oliver Moussignac's dream has always been to become a veterinarian. In fact, the 33-year-old had recently finished veterinary school and was choosing between two job offers ahead of graduation on May 6. Tornado Tears Through 100 Homes Leaving Virginia Beach Community Reeling A record-breaking tornado wreaked havoc in Virginia Beach over the weekend has left a community in mourning. While no lives were lost, between 50 and 100 homes were destroyed by the EF-3 tornado that touched down in the Great Neck portion of the city Sunday evening, April 30. Woman's Body Pulled From Newport News Boat Basin A woman's body was found Sunday morning, April 30 in a Newport News boat basis, authorities said. The local fire department responded to the Peterson Yacht Basin around 11:40 a.m., where they recovered the body. The woman's identity has not yet been released and the cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner.

Smell Ya Later: $7K In Perfume Stolen From Northern VA Ulta Beauty Store Police are on the hunt for thieves who stole more than $7,000 worth of perfume from an Ulta Beauty store in northern Virginia. A Stafford County Sheriff's deputy responded to the 1150 Market Place store on Friday, April 28 on reports of a larceny. International Temple Students Killed In NY Crash A pair of international Temple University students were killed in a crash in upstate New York over the weekend, the school's news site and officials said. Francesca Ward and Olivia Moore, both from the United Kingdom, were identified as the victims killed in the crash. Two other victims reportedly survived. T-Mobile Store Worker Shot During Robbery In Baltimore A T-Mobile store worker was shot during a robbery in Baltimore Sunday, April 30, police said. Two black males entered the Boston Street store around 4:25 p.m. and announced the robbery, before shooting the worker and demanding property of several patrons, police said. The suspects fled on foot and the worker was hospitalized for treatment.
