The a viral video that shows son of Philadelphia Flyers Interim General Manager Danny Briere pushing a woman's wheelchair down a flight of stairs at a bar is sparking outrage. Carson Briere — who lived in Haddonfield, NJ and now plays hockey for Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA — was captured in the surveillance footage first riding around in the wheelchair with friends before pushing it all the way down the stairs. Newark Woman Facing Mental Health Struggles Has Been Missing For One Month, Police Say
Police in Newark are seeking the public's help in locating a woman who has been missing since Feb. 15. Chloe Ferrel, 38, who is diagnosed with Schizophrenia, depression, and bipolar disorder, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. Nearly 700 Hunterdon County JCP&L customers were without power Tuesday afternoon, March 14 as a winter storm swept through the area. Wind gusts of up to 50 mph were expected through Wednesday, March 15, according to the National Weather Service. Gusty winds across the region March 13-15.AccuWeather According to JCP&L, the majority of the outages were in Lebanon Township (227); 135 were in Califon; 148 were in Delaware; and various other towns had between 30 and 50 outages. NJ Dog Training Center Ordered Shut After Videos Showing Disturbing Animal Abuse Surface
A Rahway dog training center has been ordered shut after videos showing workers abusing animals began surfacing on social media. Bubba Luv Dog Training and Rescue, located on Main Street, was issued a notice to vacate based on violations of uniform construction code, Mayor Raymond Giacobbe said. Members of the health department conducted and inspection and examined all dogs at the facility, the mayor added, noting the animals were in good condition.
