Airlines Waive Some Fees As Flight Delays, Cancellations Climb At Newark Airport Multiple airlines are waiving travel fees for flight changes as a powerful Nor'Easter moves through the region. Newark Airport experienced 124 flight delays and 129 cancellations as of noon on Tuesday, March 14, according to FlightAware. The highest number of flight delays at Newark Airport were for United Airlines, with a total of 56 in the last 24 hours, while Republic reported 53 cancellations and 22 delays. Security Guard Masturbates In Front Of Coworker At Hudson County Apartment Complex: Police An East Orange man was charged with lewdness and criminal sexual contact after masturbating in front of a co-worker while working a security job in Secaucus, police said. Rideef Scruggs, 36, was working at 1000 Riverside Station Boulevard, residential units across from the train station, on March 7, when she incident occurred, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Scruggs surrendered to authorities on the charges and was issued his complaint summons. He was released from police custody.

Philadelphia Man, 29, Killed In Atlantic City Expressway Crash A 29-year-old Philadelphia man was killed in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway on Saturday, March 11, authorities said. Scott Vilayseng was heading west when his Mercedes Benz veered off the road, went down an embankment and struck a fence and tree, then overturned — ejecting him around 8:50 a.m. in Hamilton Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. Vilayseng was pronounced dead at the scene and the crash remains under investigation.

Man Killed By Train In Monmouth County A man was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train in Monmouth County Saturday, March 11. The man was struck by North Jersey Coast Line train 4756 around 5:45 p.m. on Corlies Avenue near the Bradley Beach station, a New Jersey Transit spokesperson said. The train departed Bay Head at 5:19 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Long Branch at 5:58 p.m. There were no injuries reported to the five customers or crew on board. The next three North Jersey Coast Line trains were cancelled due to this incident, service has resumed.
