Woman Killed By Hit-Run SUV In Philadelphia A 43-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car in Philadelphia on Sunday, Jan. 22, authorities said. The woman was struck by a silver SUV that continued east on the 600 block of Oregon Avenue at 5:37 p.m., officer Eric McLaurin said. She was pronounced dead at 5:43 p.m. No arrests have been made.

Police ID Body Of Driver Found In Wooded Area Hours After Car Fire In Morris County Police have identified the driver found dead in a wooded area nearly eight hours after his car was found ablaze in Morris County over the weekend. Anthony Zaccaro's body was located in a wooded area near Lynn Park, in Lincoln Park, about a half-mile from where his car was found burning on Ungerer Road around 7:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, according to various news reports and Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Body Found In Easton: Report A death investigation was under way over the weekend in Easton, according to a report by LehighValleyLive. The body was found on the property of a home on the 1000 block of West Lafayette Street Saturday, Jan. 21, the outlet said citing local police. Regal Cinemas Closing This PA Location A Pennsylvania Regal Cinemas location will shutter after parent company Cineworld filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Cineworld in a new bankruptcy filing this week announced it would be rejecting the leases of 39 theaters closing in the US, helping to save $22 million a year. Rajya Lakshmi Yakkali's husband, Praveen Grandi, was working a typical day from home on Jan. 19 when he suffered a massive heart attack after lunch, and collapsed, she writes. Police ID Victim, Hit-Run Driver In Carlstadt Accident A 70-year-old waiter from Passaic has been charged in a Bergen County crash that left a 61-year-old pedestrian dead, authorities announced. Justinian Cuevasmetemi was behind the wheel of a 2017 Toyota RAV-4 when he struck Deborah Peko-Lillis, of Secaucus, on Hoboken Road in Carlstadt around 10:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, then fled the scene, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Plans For $97M Route 17 Bottleneck Project Revealed Preliminary plans for the $97 million Route 17 Bottlebeck Project have been released, and county officials are urging the public to weigh in.
