A 43-year-old volunteer firefighter was airlifted to the hospital after his vehicle struck a utility pole and went airborne while returning from a call in Ocean County, authorities said. Brian Flanagan, a chief with the Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Department, drifted off the road while heading west on County Route 571 around 10 p.m. in Manchester on Tuesday, Nov. 22, local police said. A 41-year-old Union County man has been charged with trying to kill a 50-year-old relative with whom he shares an apartment with, authorities said. Bilal L. Williams was walking in the driveway near the 700 block of East Second Street in Scotch Plains with his hands in the air as police arrived on reports of shots fired around 7:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, local police said in a statement. A father and son have been charged in a stabbing a North Bergen motel that's been going viral on TikTok, NJ Advance Media reports. Joel Garcia, 48, and Joevannie Garcia, 18, were charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses following the incident Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Lincoln Tunnel Motel on Tonnelle Avenue, the outlet said citing police. A shooting rampage left seven people dead including the gunman at a Chesapeake, VA Walmart Tuesday, Nov. 22 — just two days before Thanksgiving, authorities said. Police used tactical force to enter the Battlefield Boulevard Walmart at Sam's Circle on reports of an "active shooter" at 10:12 p.m., and found multiple bodies, a Chesapeake police spokesman told reporters. Bergen County Man Resisted Arrest, Hurt Officer After Hoboken Fight: Police
A 24-year-old man from Bergen County was arrested for resisting arrest and injuring an officer after a fight broke out in Hoboken, police said. Darian Veliu, of Elmwood Park, continued acting disorderly when police arrived at 1st and Washington Street for a fight around 1 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, Hoboken Police Detective Lt. Jonathan Mecka said. He was ultimately arrested, which he resisted, Mecka said. After a brief struggle, Veliu was ultimately arrested, processed, and his charges were placed on a summons. During the arrest, Officer Jessie Castellano suffered an ankle injury.

NJ Man Dies In NY UTV Crash
A 45-year-old man from New Jersey was killed in a utility terrain vehicle accident in upstate New York over the weekend, authorities said. William Youhas was operating the side-by-side vehicle when he lost control and overturned in Tompkins (Delaware County) on Sunday, Nov. 20, the Delaware County Sheriff’s office said.
