The search or a 15-year-old Bergen County girl missing since last week came to a close when she was found unharmed Monday, Nov. 7, police confirmed. Iris Nielda Rivera, of Lodi, had been missing since Wednesday, Nov. 2. No further information was available as of 2 p.m.

Jersey City Man Sexually Assaults Woman He Met At Hoboken Bar: Prosecutor
A 23-year-old Jersey City man was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman he met at a Hoboken bar, authorities said. Kenny Arceda assaulted the woman in the vestibule of a building on the 100 block of Washington Street on Aug. 4, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Arceda, of Jersey City, was charged with one count of sexual assault, and arrested in West Orange. He was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance. The State has filed a detention motion, which is tentatively scheduled to be heard on Thursday, Nov. 10. Suarez …

Jumper, 58, Takes Fatal Leap From Hackensack High-Rise
A 58-year-old man leapt to his death from a Hackensack high-rise Friday, Nov. 4, police said. The man landed on a parking deck after leaping from a balcony at the Excelsior 1 on Prospect Avenue around 11:40 a.m., according to city police. The incident was not believed to have been suspicious in nature, Hackensack police Capt. Michael Antista said.

Serious Crash Closes Portion Of Route 80 In Bergen County
A serious crash closed a portion of Route 80 in Bergen County Friday, Nov. 4. Portnoy Reviews Roman Pie At North Jersey's Teglia Pizza Bar
One of Montclair's newer pizzerias got a visit from Barstool Sports CEO Dave Portnoy, who's been spending a significant amount of time in the Garden State sampling pies. Portnoy stopped into Teglia Pizza Bar at 438 Bloomfield Ave., to nibble on the Roman pie. The shop sources locally and promises a "crispy, chewy, yet light, texture and stand-alone flavor profile." Teglia in Italian translates to "roasting pan," according to the pizzeria's website. Portnoy rated the Roman pie a 7.9. $15K In Drugs, $20K In Cash, Magazines Seized From Cousins During Jersey City Raid
A pair of alleged drug dealers were busted with high capacity magazines,, a handgun and more than $15,000 worth of cocaine and marijuana and other drugs in Hudson County, authorities said. Talha Khan, 27, of Jersey City, and Hameem Khan, 21, of Rosendale, NY, were charged with 26 related offenses following the raid of 159 Mallory Ave., in Jersey City, according to sources with direct knowledge. The Khan cousins had more than 170 grams of cocaine valued at more than $7,000, four pounds of marijuana worth approximately $8,000 and various prescription drugs, along with more than $20,000 in cas…

Philadelphia Wawa Shooting Leaves Licensed Gun Owner Wounded, Report Says
A shooting inside of a Philadelphia Wawa overnight left one man wounded, police say. Gunfire erupted in the vestibule of the Frankford Avenue and Academy Road Wawa around 4:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4. According to Fox29, a licensed gun owner said something to a man staring at him, when the other man pulled out a gun and fired it off. The gun owner was grazed by a bullet, which went through the back door of the store and into the front door, shattering the glass. The victim, in his 30s, was hospitalized, and police are investigating.

DWI Dump Truck Driver Who Killed PA Firefighter's Pregnant Wife Captured In MA: Police
The DWI dump truck driver who last August killed the pregnant wife of a Pennsylvania firefighter was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 2 in Boston, authorities announced. Everett Clayton, 56, of West Virginia, was wanted on various charges stemming from the crash that happened in Lower Providence Township, PA., on Aug. 25. The crash left Kellie Adams, of Lansdale, PA., dead at 31 years old, according to police in Boston and Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele. DWI Officer Ran Red Light Causing Off-Duty Crash In Hoboken: Report
A 24-year-old Union City police officer was apparently DWI when he ran a red light and struck another car while off-duty in Hoboken last month, the Jersey Journal reports. Kevin Roldan allegedly ran the light on Paterson Avenue and struck the other driver heading south on Harrison Street around 3 a.m. on Oct. 16, the outlet said citing a redacted criminal complaint. Roldan told police that the light was yellow and that his vehicle was struck, the criminal complaint apparently says.
