Paterson Gangsters Acted As Middlemen In Gun Trafficking Ring That Brought Firearms To NJ: AG Nine members of a Paterson gun trafficking ring were among 15 people indicted on various charges for their roles in bringing more than 120 firearms from South Carolina to New Jersey, state officials announced. Norwalk Man Stabs Security Guard At Halloween-Themed Expo, Authorities Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested after stabbing a security guard during a horror-themed expo over the weekend, authorities said. The alleged incident happened in New Jersey around 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at the Chiller Theatre Expo in the Hilton Parsippany. A guard was intervening during an altercation between David C. Bergen County Man, 23, Shot Dead In Jersey City A 23-year-old Bergen County man was gunned down in Jersey City, authorities said. Jovahn Horne, of Tenafly, was found a gunshot wound to the abdomen at 74 Dales Ave., around 9:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was rushed by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 9:41 p.m. The Cause and Manner of Death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office. Stabbing Victim Was Defending Jersey City Pizzeria Worker From Abusive Customer: Police A man defending Jersey City pizzeria employees from an abusive customer was hospitalized with a life-threatening stab wound to his abdomen, authorities said. The 25-year-old man got into an argument with 47-year-old Savark Dicupe at Stella’s on Grove Street over how Dicupe was treating employees around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, city police said.
