Body Of Overdose Victim Found Behind Lehigh Valley Diner The body of a 58-year-old man who had overdosed was found behind a Lehigh Valley diner, authorities said. Drug paraphernalia was found next to the unidentified man's body behind the Mount Bethel Diner on North Delaware Drive around 3 p.m. on Oct. 1, Pennsylvania State Police said. Police said only that the victim was from Tower City.

2 Passed Out, 11 Total Hospitalized In CO Leak At Newark Senior Living Facility Eleven residents of a Newark senior living facility were hospitalized in a carbon monoxide leak early Saturday, Oct. 15, authorities said. Two people who had passed out brought police to the Stephen Crane Elderly Apartments on Evergreen Lane around 5:40 a.m., Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Firefighters determined that carbon monoxide was being emitted from a furnace in the building. Pedestrian Hurt In North Bergen Hit-Run A 32-year-old pedestrian was hurt in a hit-and-run crash in North Bergen Thursday, Oct. 13, authorities said. The victim is believed to have been struck by a dark-colored vehicle heading north on Tonnelle Avenue around 10 p.m. at 85th Street, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Found in the roadway, the victim was taken by Emergency Medical Services to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was being treated for his injuries. Police Outsmart Gunman Trying To Flee Through Window After Jersey City Shootout A 35-year-old Jersey City man who thought he'd be able to escape police by jumping out a window after a shootout was outsmarted by officers already canvassing the scene, authorities said. Shots Fired As Dog Owner Chases After DC Gunman With Stolen Pup Authorities in Washington DC are seeking the person responsible for stealing a pitbull at gunpoint. Another H2oi Arrest Made With More Possibly On The Way Yet another arrest has been made in the deadly H2oi meetup held last month in Wildwood and authorities say more could be on the way.
