Wife Found Dead On Front Lawn In NJ Murder Suicide: Prosecutor A New Jersey woman was found dead on her front lawn, and her husband dead inside, in what police say was a murder suicide. James Jasper, 66, of Fords, is believed to have shot his wife, Lynn Jasper, 69 of Fords, before turning the gun on himself at a house on Soren Street in Woodbridge Wednesday, Aug. 31, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said. Six Children Attacked By Fox In Lakewood: Report Six children were attacked by a fox in separate incidents throughout the day Tuesday, Aug. 30 in Lakewood, The Lakewood Scoop reports. The first incident happened around 10 a.m., while the child was playing at the John Street playground around 10 a.m. The child was hospitalized and released. Video Shows Police Rescuing Dog From Hot Car On Jersey Shore A dog locked in a hot car for nearly 45 minutes was rescued by police officers this week in Ocean County (scroll for video). The small, white dog appeared to be okay after the tense rescue on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at Sherman Ave and Ocean Terrace in Seaside Heights, as reported by Jersey Shore Fire Response. Officials ID 28-Year-Old Man Killed By Train In Plainfield Officials have identified the victim struck and killed by a train last week in Plainfield as a 28-year-old resident. Wilber Anibal Hernandez Rivas was struck by Raritan Valley Line train 5413 near the Grant Avenue bridge in Plainfield around 8:55 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, NJT spokesman Jim Smith said. Some Details Released In Death Of 2-Year-Old Pulled From Hot Car In NJ Authorities have disclosed some details surrounding the death of a 2-year-old girl pulled from a hot car Tuesday, Aug. 30. An off-duty firefighter and neighbor was performing CPR on the toddler when authorities arrived at the scene on Summerall Road in Franklin Township around 2:20 p.m., Somerset County Prosecutor John P. Three People Found Dead Hours Apart In Newark Three people were found dead in Newark on Monday, Aug. 29, according to police and news outlets. Child Pulled From Hot Car In NJ Dies: Prosecutor An infant died after being found in a hot, locked car on Tuesday, Aug. 30 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The incident happened on Summerall Road in Franklin Township, where the baby was found unattended in the unattended car around 3:20 p.m., developing reports say.
